1. Application: This manual is specifically designed for flange-end electric (or pneumatic) ball valves.

2. Components: The valve consists of an electric (or pneumatic) actuator and a ball valve body, which are connected using brackets and connecting shafts.

3. Limitations on usage:

1) Temperature and pressure restrictions apply.

2) The maximum operating pressure of the ball valve at maximum and minimum operating temperatures is indicated on the nameplate.

3) PTFE or RTFE material should be used for the seat and seal, and the operating temperature should be between 150 to 200 degrees Celsius. For other types of seats and seals, the operating temperatures should be checked.

4) The nominal pressure grade (PN) of the cryogenic valve indicates the maximum working pressure of the valve under normal temperature conditions. For instance, PN4.0 indicates a maximum working pressure of 40 Bar (4.0MPa) at operating temperatures from -290C to 380C.

1) Remove the protective covers on both flange ends and flush the valve with it fully open.

2) Prior to installation, conduct a full test of the valve using the specified signal (electric or gas) to prevent vibration from affecting its performance during operation. Once the test is passed, the valve can be installed online, following the wiring diagram of the electric actuator.

3) Thoroughly flush and clean the pipeline of any impurities that may damage the ball and seat before connecting it to the valve.

4) Avoid using the actuator or its components as lifting points during installation, to prevent damage.

5) Install the valve in either the horizontal or vertical direction of the pipeline.

6) Ensure that the pipeline near the installation point is not drooping or subjected to external forces. Use pipeline supports or braces to eliminate any deviations in the pipeline.

7) After connecting the valve to the pipeline, tighten the flange connecting bolts in a criss-cross pattern to the specified torque.
